LBD

Ever since Coco Chanel put the little black dress on the fashion map, we all have been obsessed with this classy, timeless, and versatile outfit. It’s a must have piece of clothing in every girl’s closet and it is a “rule of fashion” that every woman should own a simple, elegant black dress that can be worn for date nights, parties or an evening out.

I wore this LBD recently for our date night in the city. Black is such a great canvas to accessorize so I decided to add some sparkle to it with a statement necklace (from Aldo), gold waist belt, Hermes bracelet, a black clutch and a fab pair of jimmy choo heels. I love using this gold waist belt with a gown or cocktail dress as it gives the outfit a little edge while looking completely elegant. You can also style an LBD with a pastel coat which will help to soften up the whole look or you can dress it up by throwing a jacket over it during these chilly winter evenings.
