Cold Shoulder + Ruffles + Denim !!!

Looks like collarbone is the most important feature as far as Spring/Summer ‘16 fashion is concerned. Everybody is swooning over this part whether it’s an off shoulder, single shoulder or a cold shoulder. Lately, OTS has been a bit ubiquitous and for those who wanted to spin up a new look, cold shoulders is a great option. It still allows you to show off your beautiful shoulders, which if you ask me is incredibly flattering for all women of all age groups. The other advantage of cold shoulders over off shoulder is you don’t have to worry of lifting your arms or holding on to your strapless bras anymore 😛 😛 .

Another biggest trend for this season is comeback of ruffles and denim skirts. Unlike in 70’s (which was more frilly and floppy), ruffles this time are much more elegant and wearable. And talking about denim, it’s one style that’s totally a throw on and go, easy to pull off and a great option from morning till evening. Denim with whites is one of my favorite to-go combos. When I bought this ruffled cold shoulder top (from H&M) I didn’t have to think twice so, I styled it by tucking it into my good old denim mini (Allen Solly). Since the ruffles are a statement by itself I balanced the style with a pair of gladiator sandals and delicate jewelry.
