Spring is here, so is the fun and the colors. It’s time for those fun bunnies, easter eggs, fresh fragrant air and a lot of rejoicing. As they say ”Spring is nature’s way of saying, Let’s Party!” so why not enjoy some pastel-icious treats to celebrate this floral season.

Hope you all had a blessed and wonderful Eid with your friends and family. The first thing that comes to my mind thinking of Eid or any Muslim festival is a table full of mouth watering palaharams. Being a Malabari, I was lucky enough to try and indulge in all those yummy Mappila delicacies. And, growing up in Calicut I had some amazing friends who used to pack and bring us their mom-made snacks every other day.

Is there anything more amazing than a rich, creamy, and custardy ice-cream on a hot summer day? Nah!!! I’m a sucker for anything sweet and I believe a scoop of ice-cream a day keeps MY doctor away 😛 !!

Chicken cutlet + chai is one of my favorite combos of all time. I remember my mom used to make some droolicious cutlets whenever she got time from her busy schedule. I used to hang around the kitchen pretending to help just to get/steal couple of extra ones :P. I have to say I like this dish more for it’s memories than for it’s taste.

Popsicle is one of my favorite things to make during the warm summer season. It’s healthy, refreshing and a great sweet treat to sip on a sunny day. Popsicles are something that scream summer and are super easy to make.
