Monochromed !!!

Monochromes and stripes, two of the wardrobe basics, are having a fashion moment. Especially, during Spring/Summer’16 runways…when they literally stole the show. Stripes, let it be horizontal, vertical, classic french (black & white) or colored, when donned, instantly gives you a polished and elegant look. And, same in the case of Monochromes. They are easy to pull off since they go well with anything and everything and also instantly add a sleek sophistication to your look.

I personally am a fan of vertical stripes due to it’s leg lengthening properties and was excited when I saw this summer shorts in F21. And, pairing it with a black off-the-shoulder basics seems cliche but was something that I couldn’t resist. You can also pair it with colored tees/ crop tops/ denims. I teamed my outfit with Adidas sneakers for a casual look and finished off with D&G sunnies, velvet choker (F21), and a quilted flap bag.
