Gingham Style!

It’s official that everyone is obsessing over Gingham this season. This quintessential summer check is really easy to style and gives you a fun and feminine touch. Thanks to celebrities like Brigitte Bardot (who wore it to her wedding) for making it a timeless classic. Gingham has got a fresh update this time around and can be found in interesting silhouette with a lot of deconstruction, cropped hems, and asymmetries. There is a Gingham piece that fits everyone’s aesthetic and if you are not invested in one then it’s time to jump onboard.

I stumbled across this Gingham dress from H&M recently and felt it was perfect fit for our afternoon tea date. For those of you who don’t like to go with a Gingham dress, separates (tops, pants, skirts, & trousers) is a great option. It can also be incorporated in your accessories (footwear and bags) as well. I styled my outfit with Jimmy Choo studded flats, Cult Gaia basket bag, and accessorized with ball drop earrings from Aldo. Speaking of accessories, big and bold statement earrings have become one of the biggest trends this season. It’s the perfect cherry on top to any outfit but, make sure they are chunky and utterly unmissable 😛
